Bali climate

Like most countries of Southeast Asia, Bali has a tropical, warm and humid climate due to its close location to the Equator. With an average air temperature of 26°C, the climate in Bali is enjoyable all year round. However, the Indonesian island has two main seasons: the rainy season from November to April and the dry season from May to October.

Knowing what the average temperatures and the number of rainy days will likely be at the time of your trip will help you determine if this is the best time to dive in Bali. However, seasonal migrations of marine animals can sometimes have greater importance when a scuba diver decides to travel to a diving spot.

The air temperature is usually between 29°C and 31°C during the day all year round, while it drops to 23°C at night. It is important to note that July and August correspond to the peak tourist season though. If you prefer to go on a cheaper low-season period, I advise you to go diving in Bali in June, September or October.
