Bali itinerary 3 days

Bali is probably one of the best spots to dive in the world. Warm water, marine diversity, famous dive sites like the Liberty Shipwreck or Crystal Bay, Bali is a dream come true for divers who like wreck diving and manta rays. Here is the most efficient itinerary you can do in 3 days, based on my ultimate Bali road trip itinerary. Ready to go?  Just follow the guide!

To get around Bali you can rent a motorbike, however, when diving in Bali it isn’t the easiest option if you travel with your diving gear. In that case, I recommend renting a car. This is a great way to visit the island while being as free as a bird, and it is way cheaper than a taxi. If you don’t feel confident driving on Bali’s road, you can still hire a driver to follow the following itinerary.

Day 1 –  Sanur

After your arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, you can reach Sanur in only 25 minutes driving outside of the rush hours. Start by checking in at your hotel and a dive centre for the next morning. Then you can spend the day relaxing at the beach.

Day 2 – Sanur / Ubud

After enjoying the sunrise over Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida, you can go for a 2-tank dive trip in the morning. Dive centres of Sanur may take you diving in Nusa Lembongan to Crystal Bay or Manta Point if sea conditions allow. After lunch, it’s time to head to Ubud. On the way, you can visit Goa Gajah Temple. Before checking in at your hotel, you will have time to explore its colourful market and monkey forest both located in the centre.

Day 3 – Ubud

Before making your way back to the airport, depending on what time is your flight, you can enjoy a Balinese massage session if you don’t have too much time, or head to Tegallalang rice terraces and Tirta Empul Temple if you have an evening flight.
